Chris Paul, Blake Griffin lead Clippers to 113-92 victory at Charlotte

The Clippers on Monday night led host Charlotte by just eight points after three quarters, but the Clippers out-scored the Hornets 35-22 in the fourth to emerge with a 113-92 victory at Time Warner Cable Arena.

The Clippers (8-5) are now 3-1 on this seven-game road trip. Charlotte falls to 4-11.

Blake Griffin and Chris Paul scored 22 points apiece. Griffin also grabbed 16 rebounds and doled out nine assists and Paul had 15 assists. Jamal Crawford contributed 21 points off the bench, J.J. Redick scored 17 points, DeAndre Jordan had 11 points and 12 rebounds and Hedo Turkoglu scored 10 points off the bench.

The Clippers shot 51.1 percent from the field, 46.9 percent (15 of 32) from 3-point range.

Charlotte got 17 points from Cody Zeller off the bench, Al Jefferson scored 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds and Kemba Walker scored 15 points.

The Hornets shot 41.3 percent from the field, but just 10 percent (2 of 20) from beyond the arc.

The Clippers next play Wednesday at Detroit at 4:30 p.m. (on Prime Ticket).
