The Clippers still aren’t putting together complete games on a regular basis. Tuesday’s 107-104 loss Tuesday night at Atlanta was a good example. The Clippers led by 13 points with just over seven minutes left in the third quarter, but lost their momentum and the game.

Blake Griffin, who scored 21 points, talked about the inconsistency of the team.

“In stretches, we’re doing well and doing some good things, but you have to put it all together,” he said. “I am encouraged. We’re playing here and there. A loss is a loss. They all feel the same way, but it’s disappointing that we were so close. We had the lead in the third. I thought the biggest thing in the third was that we fouled too much. They weren’t hitting shots, but they got to the line and that allowed them to get back into the game and they carried it from there.”

Atlanta made 12 of 16 from the free-throw line in the third quarter, 27 of 35 overall (77.1 percent).
