J.J. Redick admits there has been some frustration this season as the team has tried to continue its roll from 2013-14 when it won a franchise-high 57 regular-season games before losing in the Western Conference semifinals. Of particular concern has been the team’s inability to regularly win against some of the league’s elite teams.

Ahead of their game Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks (26-11), the Clippers (24-12) were 1-4 in their past five games against some of the best in the NBA.

“Internally, there was an expectation that we would just pick up where we left off,” Redick said. “But we all saw it in preseason that we weren’t where we needed to be and so there was a level of frustration there, there was a level of frustration at the beginning of the season. I think we’re still trying to find ourselves against the really good teams; we still haven’t found ourselves in that regard.”
