DeAndre Jordan scored eight points in the first quarter Wednesday night at Portland

The Clippers (25-13) played very well in the first quarter Wednesday night in Portland. Led by eight points from DeAndre Jordan and six from Blake Griffin, they led the Trail Blazers (30-8) by a score of 27-21 after one.

Jamal Crawford contributed five points off the bench and Chris Paul and J.J. Redick each scored 4.

Portland got 12 points from LaMarcus Aldridge.

Clippers owner Steve Ballmer is on hand.
