Cole Aldrich doesn’t say much. He’s just a quiet guy. But his actions spoke loudly Wednesday when he scored 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds to help lead the Clippers to their 10th consecutive victory, 104-90 over the visiting Miami Heat.

Aldrich started in place of DeAndre Jordan, whose 360 consecutive games streak was halted because he has pneumonia.

Aldrich afterward talked about his team’s streak.

“We are halfway through the season,” said Aldrich, whose team is now 26-13. “It is obviously something to be excited about, but there is still a lot of work to do. We are at the halfway point and we are starting to click. The biggest thing is to take those strides and get to our goal toward the end of the year.”
