Chris Paul scored 13 points and DeAndre Jordan had eight points and nine rebounds to help the Clippers take a 46-39 lead over the Portland Trail Blazers into the locker at halftime Thursday at Staples Center.
The Clippers shot 45 percent overall, just 12.5 percent (1 of 8) from 3-point range.
The Trail Blazers (37-35) led 21-18 after one quarter. They were led by 11 points off the bench from Ed Davis. Portland made just 1 of 13 from deep for 7.7 percent.
The Clippers (43-27) just came off a five-game road trip, in which they went just 1-4.
