Clippers rookie Branden Dawson won’t be charged with felony domestic abuse for an incident involving his live-in girlfriend that took place March 13 in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office found there to be insufficient evidence to support the charge. Ricardo Santiago – a spokesman for the L.A. County District Attorney’s office, said the case had been referred to the L.A. City Attorney’s office for possible misdemeanor filing.

However, Frank Mateljan – a spokesman for the city attorney – said there will be no such charges because of “a lack of evidence.”

That means Dawson is completed cleared.
