Just heard about this one from Friday:

A 75-year-old man walking from his doctor’s office was attacked from behind in the 1900 block of South Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach at 10:35 a.m.

The robber put the victim in a choke hold until he went unconscious. The robber took his Rolex watch.

Police had no other information.

This one happened Saturday:

Two patrol officers pulled over a car in the 2100 block of Artesia Boulevard shortly before 10 p.m. because it had tinted windows.

That wasn’t all. They checked the car and found about 10 grams of marijuana, a gram scale, marijuana grinder and $ 22,812.25 in cash.

Officers also found 130 grams of marijuana packaged in various containers inside his Aviation Boulevard motel room. The driver was arrested on suspicion of sales and transportation of marijuana.
