lavell intended to kill his wife. he had made threats throughout the years and no one took him serious. i HOPE HE NEVER SEES THE LIGHT TO DAY AGAIN. THIS FAMILY HAS SUFFERED ENOUGH. He has left her to care for three teenage children one of which will be graduating in june. Lavell could have walked away. But he was too jealous to see his "wife" move on without him. It angers me that this kids now have to suffer for his selfish acts. He and his family should be ashamed of himself trying to force her to sell her house to help pay for a defence for him attempting to kill her. That is ridiculous.

Lavell intended to kill Denise. He has always been jealous of her and her family. Denise is a well educated woman. She has always worked hard to keep her family together and to supply their children with their every need. Lavell couldn't do that because he was too jealous. Lavell wanted to be like Denise. He tried going to Nursing School and could not successed. He became more jealous. He could have ended their marriage by leaving after admitting that he had cheated on her. But instead he chose to be a coward. He wanted Denise dead but that was not in God's plan. Lavell's will for Denise to die was intercepted by God. I don't wish death upon anyone but I do hope he gets what he deserves and that's life in prison.

First of all let me start off by saying LaVell NEVER intend or planned to kill Denise. This is a bold face lie, to get LaVell put away with a Lie. I don't know who these people are who are stating and writing the lies. Denise was no saint in their marriage either. She lied on the witness stand stating she was not aware of LaVell trying to kill himself. She knew he was ill and took advantage of his mental state of mind. She too could have walked away, but she continued to play with LaVell knowing he had some mental issues. What happen was horrible for both side, however, LaVell family is about honesty and truth. Which the family thought Denise was to. For Denise clan to think the father of her children, which by the way LaVell raised and took care of his children on his own while she worked 24-7 should go to jail for life, GOD help them. Denise to carried alot of blame in this situation as well, but she choose to lie as well as cheat just as LaVell. The bottom line is this, GOD knows the truth and we should all pray that GOD help both families, but letting the devil take over it on them.

now the last comment is blowing my mind! What was Denise supposed to do if her husband could/would not hold a job? Not work 24/7...then where would they be. Everything they have she bought. If he refused to work he was supposed to sit on his ass and take care of the kids. Having your wife doing all the work, bringing home all of the bacon, cooking it too!! This man still had an affair on her and more than once I'm sure..Whoever wrote the last comment for the family needs to her them some hot led to understand how that feels..what kind of crazy stuff is that. If my husband cheat, Im cheating too. I am human. We go to flesh first, let us be realistic. All she did for that man he needed to be cheated on. Let us focus on what matters now, we cant change what has happened..DO YOU REALLY THINK IF HE LOVES HIS KIDS HE WOULD TAKE THEIR ONLY HOME SO HE CAN PAY A LAWYER TO PROVE HE IS GUILTY..
