It's open house time for the El Segundo police and fire departments

Police and firefighters will offer station tours, equipment displays and a canine unit demonstration during an open house scheduled for Saturday.

The annual open house will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The stations are located on Main Street near Grand Avenue.

Officers from patrol, investigations, special operations, communications, crime prevention and Drug Abuse Resistance Education will offer tours and provide live firearms demonstrations.

Police Service Dog demonstrations are scheduled for 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. A special weapons team demonstration is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

Firefighters will offer station tours, child safety activities, conduct free blood pressure checks, equipment demonstrations, and apparatus displays.
