They are looking for a burglar in Hermosa Beach****(updated)

If you were wondering what that helicopter was doing hovering over Hermosa Beach, police officers were looking for a burglar who ran from a house.

Sgt. Paul Wolcott said the man was inside a home in the 600 block of Gould Avenue when the resident arrived home and surprised him about 2:30 p.m. He pushed past her and ran, jumping over fences.

A Redondo Beach police dog found him hiding in a yard IN the 500 block of 24th Street about 5 p.m. He had stolen jewelry on him.

Is there a description of the burglar and what he was wearing? I work in the area & have seen the helicopter flying over for at least an hour now. Thanks!

My family was the one robbed. My mother saw the man with several bags but stopped him from escaping with all but one bag. He left the bag somewhere in the area. It's rainbow colored and contains special family heirlooms and jewerly. If you see this bag please contact the Hermosa Beach Police Department. Thank you.
