WANTED PHOTO: Man sought in Wilmington homicide

Los Angeles police detectives are asking for the public's help to locate a suspect they believe

shot and killed a man during an argument on a Wilmington sidewalk.

The gang-related crime occurred about 12:20 p.m. Jan. 13 when Fernando Ochoa, 28, became involved in a dispute with Alfred McCullin, 21 in the 1100 block of North Ravenna Ave., police said.

Police said Ochoa shot McCullin numerous times, killing him.

The District Attorney's Office issued a warrant for Ochoa's arrest, charging him with murder.

Anyone with information about Ochoa's whereabouts is asked to contact Harbor Division detectives at 310-522-2036 or the use the 24-hour tip line,  1-877-LAWFULL(529-3855).
