Law enforcement critic Najee Ali, who often speaks out after officer-involved shootings andnajeephoto.jpg racially-motivated incidents -- including the 2006 killing of Cheryl Green in Harbor Gateway -- was sentenced today to four years in prison for trying to bribe a witness in a criminal case against his daughter.

Najee Ali was very active following Green's death, led demonstrations after the Jeremy Morse trunk thumping case in Inglewood, spoke out in Hawthorne after officers shot a woman who stabbed her 4-year-old daughter, and criticized Torrance police after officers shot two burglars hiding in a tool shed.

That's Najee and Green's mother, Charlene Lovett, getting arrested at a protest in Inglewood.

The LA Times has the details on today's guilty plea.
