BREAKING NEWS: Gunfire at Lomita beauty salon; 2 down
I'll look into this one a bit more tomorrow when I can get a bit more info...(Not a "slaying. I fixed that.)
A gunman walked into a Lomita beauty salon Tuesday and shot two men getting haircuts, deputies said.
The shooting at Ryan Roots, 1844 W. Lomita Blvd., occurred about 4:30 p.m., Lomita sheriff's Sgt. David Ward said.
"One suspect came in and fired possibly five to six rounds," Ward said.
Both victims were sitting in the barber chairs. They were taken to County Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Ward said their wounds were not considered life-threatening.
The only description of the gunman was black and wearing a black sweat shirt.
The motive for the shooting was under investigation.
Detectives were working Tuesday evening at the scene.

this place has looked like bad news since the day it opened, on some days you can see 5 to 10 guys standind around lookin for trouble and they got it! good for them, idiots..............
Did this occur right near Western? I was driving home around 830 and saw a police car and yellow police tape in a shopping center and I was wondering what happened. Is this the same thing? It was on Lomita after Narbonne but before Western?
