Here you go for your drinking planning:

Carson

Hermosa Beach

The task force, comprised of officers from 12 South Bay agencies, including the Sheriff's Department and the California Highway Patrol, will patrol the South Bay from December 19-31.

I found this video posted on YouTube Wednesday by a 17-year-old named Ryan at Perkiomen Valley High School in Collegeville, Pa. Hope he wins his contest. You made the Daily Breeze in California dude.

Larry Altman has covered crime in the South Bay since 1990. He's seen it all - the missing model who turned up dead in the desert, the wives found dead in trunks, the high-school coaches who get a little too close to their players. He drives his young colleagues nuts with his "I remember when" stories. He welcomes your tips and observations about the present, and you can mix in a little Lakers basketball talk if you like.
