Here's some more stuff from Redondo Beach:

Monday, Dec. 8:
A large man stole a towel from Macy's at the Galleria about 8:15 p.m. Dec. 8. When loss prevention officers attempted to stop him, he threw the towel at them, acted like he wanted to fight, and continued walking, police said.

A uniformed police officer tried to stop him, but the man made aggressive moves toward the officer. Back up officers arrived and used a Taser to subdue him.

Tuesday, Dec. 9: A police sergeant saw a van driving recklessly in the Galleria parking lot and stopped it in front of TJ Maxx.

Two women ran, but police stopped the driver. Police found three large bags of stolen Victoria's Secret and Abercrombie & Fitch clothes.

The driver was arrested.

Friday, Dec. 12: Some guys broke into the Marie Callender's Restaurant overnight on Artesia Boulevard. They ransacked the office and tried to open a safe. Instead, they ate and drank inside the restaurant and took off.

Saturday, Dec. 13: A woman walked into the police station shortly before 1 a.m. to report that she received a telephone call from her son, who said he had stabbed someone during a fight at a party and might have killed him.

The son asked for money so he could get away, but she refused and went to police.

A short time later, the victim showed up at a hospital with a stab wound on his butt. The guy said he had been stabbed at a party in Los Angeles.

No word on whether the suspect was arrested.

Saturday, Dec. 13:
A woman driving north on Catalina Ave passed out and struck a vehicle in the intersection at Garnet Street about 9:40 a.m.

Still unconscious, she kept going north in the southbound lanes. She hit five parked cars, three parking meters and two trees before her car came to rest.

She was not injured, but went to a hospital to figure out what happened.
