That is so sad. We do business in that strip mall all the time - our insurance agent is there, and of course Rizzos.

With the economy tanking, we'll be seeing more of this, unfortunately.

I hope they catch the creeps who did this.

How sad.

Does anyone know the details yet...like why?

I can't believe Sam died. It's horrible. He was such a good man. I certainly hope that the people who did this are caught and punished accordingly. It's scary to think that not only are there other busineses in the plaza, but Dream Tree as well, the day care.

I am devastated. I've known this wonderful family for 35 years. They have been a joy to my life and to our local community. I am grateful to have spent time with Sam recently, and today my heart breaks for his children, grandchild, and wife, whom he leaves behind.

I am very sorry to hear aobut Sam. he was a very nice man and always was helpful to me in regards to building cost information. Same with Brian and my prayers go out to him and for his family. Like Sam he was always helpful to me in regards to buidling costs and real estate matters. My family also know him through the Boy Scouts. Hopefully Brian will make a full recovery and justice will prevail.

This is so sad!

I hate to see if this is what our beautiful city is coming too...random shootings for no reason but for greed...i hope TPD finds them and punishes them to the fullest!

Sam and his family are in Our Prayers!

This is terrible. A&A installed my garage door at my house. Sam and his son were very professional. Torrance Police Dept find these two cowards. Put a reward of $25,000 and you will find them.

My prayers to their families,

Big Mo

Sam was always bigger than Life. And, still is.
Who can forget that smile and contagious laugh.
My prayers to his loving family and friends.
This is a true tragedy.

I am so sorry. My family has known the Burrescia's for 38 years when we moved next door to them. I will always remember so many happy times. You will all be remembered in my prayers.
