BREAKING NEWS: Body found in mountains is Torrance resident
A woman whose body was found in a bag in a snowbank in Running Springs on Monday has been identified as a Torrance resident.
Her name is Cori Daye Desmond, 28.
News reports indicate her car was found in Redondo Beach.
A motorist who stopped to change a tire saw a mound of dirt and what he thought was a foot protruding from a bag Monday afternoon.
