A reader left a comment on one of our previous entries about Cori Desmond, letting people know that a memorial fund was established to help the family with funeral and burial costs.

According to the post, the administrator of the fund is Lori Desmond, Cory Daye's cousin. If you wish to help please send your donation to the Cori Daye Desmond Memorial Fund c/o Cal National Bank, 29000 South Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes. Acct # 5589633720.

Last week and over the weekend, many, many more lovely comments and remembrances were posted here about Desmond. Thank you to everyone for sharing.

I worked with Cory at Bac Street a couple years ago...and I was so shocked when I heard this news.

This is such a horrible and sad story. Is there anymore information on suspects or her autopsy...any answers??

I truly hope that whoever is responsible for this is brought to justice.
