BREAKING NEWS: Attempted kidnapping in Hermosa Beach
Larry just left the Hermosa Beach police station, where he learned this from Sgt. Bob Higgins:
Police are searching a Hermosa Beach neighborhood for two three men in a white van who allegedly tried to snatch a woman off the street. The woman told police that at 2 p.m. she was in the 600 block of 4th Street when a white van pulled up. The men inside asked for directions. At the same time, the sliding side door opened and a man grabbed her and tried to pull her inside. She struggled, broke free and ran.
The woman said she could see ropes inside the van. Detectives were continuing to question her this afternoon. Police said this incident is likely connected to a previous attempted kidnapping in Redondo Beach in January.
We should have more later

I REALLY WISH YOU COULD FIND THIS GUY TO PUT A STOP TO THE FEARFULLNESS THAT'S GRIPPING THE SOUTH BAY COMMUNITY. PLEASE ALSO TRY TO FIND OUT WHO KILLED CORI DESMOND.
At least this time it did NOT take over 2 months for the info to be passed on to residents, unlike the January attempt that we learned about in MARCH!!! These guys need to be caught, they are obviously VERY bold to be attempting this in broad daylight.
I was a good friend of Cori Desmond. I was wondering if the police have came up with anything new on this. An is there any possiblity that these two cases are related. That these guys in the white VAn Could be responsible for what had happen to Cori?
