We could use a nice photo of Narbonne's Dannie Farber
Maybe someone can e-mail me a nice photograph? I just received this from the DMV. This was his driver's license photo. He was a good-looking kid and it'd be nice to have a photo of him smiling. I left a message for his mother yesterday, but did not hear back from her. If you have a photo, send one over to larry.altman@dailybreeze.com.
By the way, nothing new to report today on the search for his killer.

I still can't believe this. When and where are (were?) the services for Dannie?
I SAT NEXT TO DANNIE IN 5TH PER AND HE WAS A FUNNY GUY AND ILL MISS HIM A LOT...
I was one of his previous teachers. He was a great kid. Always smiling. I just saw him a few days before the shooting. Now, today, I have to attend his funeral along side my fellow colleges and my other students. It has been a very sad couple of weeks at Narbonne. But, there has been a silver lining to this very dark cloud. As one student put it... Dannie's memory has brought so many students together. THey just seem to be there for each other. It would make Dannie proud.
So, today, we say our unfortunite good-byes to one of the many bright light lights of Narbonne High School. Rest In Peace Dannie Farber #4.
I've known Danniesince we was lil kids. SMH This really makes no since. Today (6.5.09) was his homegoing celebration. I never knew or thought I would say ma last goodbyes 2 u so soon, but there's just some things I cant change. I will always love ma DMAN & even death wont do us part!!!!!
Man it was one of the most worse days i could ever have. I lived down the street from dannie and i had just saw him like 2 hours b4 it happeed. Dannie was one of my closes friends, he was one person i knew i could count on and when ever i need something he would always help me out. I was his "lil hommie" he said. He was like my brother that i never really had and i will never for get him. he has my heart and we will b friends forever. Till that 1 sweet day where we meet agin at the gates of heaven. ily dannieand miss youso much

dang smh in class right now july 22 .09 thinkin about dannie.. i thought it was all a big night mare and when i wake up ill see dannie riding down my street in his car bumpin ..lol we share soo many child hood memerios growing up !! its jus not the same u hade a huge impact on my life .. everyday it seem like sumthing missing.. it hurts me to koe im not going to here your voice or see you anymore i been trying to be strong but it realy hurt the only word that pop up in my mind is why ??
