LAPD crime map far from complete

What struck me as the most impressive part of this L.A. Times report is that these reporters had the time and resources to investigate such a massive undertaking. What they found is that the Los Angeles Police Department's much-touted public crime map omitted about 40 percent of the city's serious crimes - going back about six months.

I was gonna mention how this looks to be like Kroll and the gang recommended this contractor for Mr. Bratton and their lack of response to public complaints makes it even more obvious...

But as I look more into it, they look like the typical massive outsourcing company.

So the real question is: how much did the Los Angeles Police Foundation get ripped off?
