Family of run-down teen in Inglewood pleads for suspect to surrender
Semaj Spencer, 14, of Inglewood was killled early on Imperial Highway just east of Crenshaw Boulevard by a hit-and-run driver.

what is a 14 year old doing out at 1 AM?
To Tsk Tsk, Just because he was out a 1 am does that give a person a right to take his life. I am a personal friend of the mother Penny Hoover and I know she is a responsible parent as well as her husband. The teens were at a party that's what they were doing out at that time. Don't pass judgement cause I remember when my son was that age he would say he was at a friends house and be somewhere else but that doesn't give anyone the right to take his life.
