Court clerk may testify in Lomita molestation trial

(And an update on that: I'm told that the clerk was called to testify during an evidentiary hearing to see if she would be permitted to take the witness stand before the jury. I'm not sure what she said, but my understanding is that Judge James Brandlin gave the defense the green light to call her. However, she was not called.)

Joseph Senter and Roman Polanski are nearly the same age. Wonder if they'll be cell mates in the near future?

I have to wounder if the two girls were given a polygraph test would they pass? Mr. Senter passed. So why not, their results may or may not not be admissible. What if the actual molesting came from a family member and the girls were told to tell authorties a lie in order to not have a family member go to jail. Now don't get me wrong here, if Mr. Senter did what they said he did he deserves to be punished. But what if he didn't?

And God will punish the people that lied to Hell when they die!

More info from Anonymous:
Yes this did happen and yes the judge did say the Defense could do this. But he also stated that he did not recommend going forth on this because it would drag out the trial longer and possibly irritate the jury. It would also open up the D.A to bring back witnesses to the stands.
Now I ask, If you thought the D.A's witnesses were lying to begin with, would you want another chance for them on the stand to lie some more about the Defense? I think it was a wise choice.
Yes he was convicted guilty, but not everyone in history with a guilty conviction is actually guilty.

The jury convicted him based on evidence, not on what the Breeze reported, which is only a tiny fraction of what they actually printed.

The evidence had to be pretty solid, and it probably was.

Any appeal will probably be overturned.

Roy Senter is a pig. How can both little girls be lying? What are they going to get out of lying about this? They are not sisters. What this man has done is filth.

Mr Johnson, do you not remember the McMartin case? That involved many children who lied.
So unless you were there, you should not be so quick to judge.
