Four arrested in Carson graffiti vandalism
Four men with criminal histories that included attempted murder on a police officer and robbery have been arrested as suspects in nearly $10,000 damage in graffiti vandalism in Carson, deputies said Wednesday.
Three of the men were arrested in early morning raids Wednesday. Two additional men remain at large.
The men have been tied to 24 acts of tagging since December, spray painting monikers and nicknames related to two Carson gangs on commercial buildings and walls in the city, Carson sheriff's Sgt. Romeo Pascual said.
Most of the vandalism occurred in the south end of Carson and near the Harbor Freeway, Pascual said.
