UPDATE: CORI DESMOND MURDER SUSPECT
We've just learned that the suspect arrested in connection to Cori Desmond's slaying is Tony Lopez Perez, 35, of Redondo Beach.
We'll get you more when we know it.

I first found this blog because of the murder of Cori Desmond and wanting to know more what happened etc. I have stuck around even though I did not ever expect to hear anything more. Glad to know someone has been taken into custody finally, I just hope there is proof beyond reasonable doubt.
Now I have something to look forward to besides November 12th.
The tipster did something so small that turned into something HUGE well done! All because they paid a little extra attention you never know.Being a female in the area and having known cori we can at least rest a little easier knowing this piece of garbage has been caught i do think we could save a lot of time and money by putting this pervert in a room with dad for 2 min and looking the other way!RIP Cori
It's a breath of fresh air to know they found someone. But we are not out of the woods yet. They still need a confession, or it has to go to trial, which could take years. Lets cross our fingers, and say a prayer that he gets what he deserves.
I knew Cori for 14yrs, she didn't deserve what happened to her, I'm glad that this menace is behind bars, and now we can rest a litte better. I'm so sorry Mark and Blake, Cori is home and at peace
