I wonder how much extra money they were able to squeeze by shortening the yellow times. $100,000 every 100 milliseconds?

I have read much of the information on effectiveness of red light cameras. I have not seen a study analyzing how right turns on red have impacted the statistics. I believe the majority of income from citations are from these less flagrant and lower speed types. Also, I have not found any comment in studies or in the news the impact this great increase in citations is having on our traffic courts. Locally, there is no increased funding to handle the workload.
