Why did it take over a year for the DA to charge him?

The Truth said:

Because he is (was) a cop and cops are typically above the law. When is the last time you saw a police vehicle with its turn signal on when changing lanes?

The Truth is wrong...name another job in the world where you get suspended after you get punished by a court system. If The Truth gets a DUI he just goes to court, pays the fine and is good to go. When a cop gets a DUI they go to court, pay the fine, then get suspended without pay for 20 days..above the law? The truth needs to spend some time in the real world of 210 Temple where the DA's won't file a case unless there's DNA, video, 20 eyewitnesses, fingerprints and a signed confession...unless it's a cop being accused, then they go for broke...The Truth is a TOOL.
