No charges filed in case against Redondo Beach man suspected of drugging, shaving friend

No charges against John Marshall. You ruined this man's life when he did NOTHING wrong!

What a shitty journalist. They had NO CASE against this man, and even when you're forced to report that, you try to save face by transcribing the RBPD's paranoid warnings: "There's still an investigation! Something still might come up! You never know, gay people are awful sick and very scary!"

You had two fucking months, assholes. Nobody came forward. There's no case. The South Bay simply has a major problem with gay people.

The Redondo Beach cops and/or D.A. flacks need to stop posting comments here on this shithead's blog, posing as so-called victims. They were hoping people would see those and come forward to corroborate their flimsy case, but it obviously didn't get them any success in court.

It seems likely from reading Larry Altman's stenography of whatever RBPD tells him to write, and from the vitriolic sockpuppet comments here from RBPD detectives and longtime neighborhood enemies of this family, that this whole affair is an attempt to destroy a lifetime Redondo resident who has made plenty of business and political enemies over the years, both from being gay in a very anti-gay small town and from being a shrewd business man. Just because you get in squabbles with a neighboring family doesn't give you the right to fabricate allegations of rape and child molestation -- fabricated, yes, because the RBPD case wasn't supported by any evidence, witnesses or victims. Shame on you! Prosecuting gays as de facto child molesters and rapists is an old and evil tactic in repressive societiess. It's still a widespread practice in Iran, and apparently in Redondo Beach, California too.
