Molestation, lewd acts, robbery, death: All in a day's work

Crazy day.

Spent the morning in court watching a Wiseburn daycare provider sent off to prison for molesting young girls. The parents of one of them spoke out about how he took their daughter's innocence. The molester's wife cried uncontrollably in the hallway.

I came back to the office and found out a Redondo Union High School teacher was arrested for allegedly committing a lewd act in front of a 16-year-old student in his classroom. I put a story up on dailybreeze.com.

Then I found out that guy who allegedly robbed a Hermosa Beach supermarket and led a chase until he abandoned the car and took a cab to get away had been caught.

After that, school beat reporter Douglas Morino and I went out to the Redondo Union campus to talk to a few kids about the teacher for the print version of the story that will be out tomorrow.

Just came back and found out a young guy from Torrance who went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo has been found dead up there. He had been missing for several days. I'll have more on this in about an hour.
