Who killed Killer?
The title of this entry was what was written in the subject line of the email sent to the Daily Breeze by Odette Leonelli. We knew immediately we had to do something, anything, to help Joe Martinez in the wake of his devoted companion's death. It doesn't seem likely that whoever hit Killer in a crosswalk near Martinez's Gardena home will ever be caught, but at least the community that the duo brought so much joy to can help him start again.
