L.A.'s top public defender comes from a place of struggle and humor
I actually laughed out loud at this very well-written profile of Los Angeles Public Defender Michael Judge in the Metropolitan News Enterprise. The well-respected criminal defense attorney, who was once head of the Torrance branch, had a "pimp era," during which he wore purple platform shoes with a pink diamond pattern and faux fur coats and drove a Cadillac Coup de Ville "with gangsta walls." Awesome.
Judge overcame a couple serious injuries and a career as the class clown to achieve some serious accomplishments.
