So, the police inconvenience dozens, maybe hundreds of people without getting anything serious from some supposed caller on a bomb threat? Gimme a break. I'd guess he/she a had grudge with Sears. Are you going to follow up on this or not?
We were at the Del Amo mall around 5:30 and sears was shut down tight. they even shut the outback, our destination but penney's was open.

You are worried about dozens of people being inconvenienced, I wonder what your reaction would be if the threat was indeed a bomb and police blew it off as someone with a grudge against Sears and people were hurt. Dont you think in light of random acts of violence across the country we should air on the side of caution when it comes to human life at risk. I would rather be inconvenienced than have injuries and perhaps deaths. Thank you Torrance PD for doing a fine job protecting the citizens of Torrance and visitors to the Del Amo Mall... Job well done!
