corey-patterson.jpgOne of the guys arrested in Manhattan Beach on suspicion of breaking into cars has a history. Orange police arrested him for the same thing a couple years ago.

Thanks to Manhattan Beach Neighborhood Watch block commander John Gilmer for finding this story in the Orange County Register from two years ago.

I looked up his records. Looks like he got about two years. He's got other things on his record besides burglary, including assault, drug offenses and hit-and-run. He's also had a number of driving tickets.

The photo is from the Orange Police Department from two years ago. (via OC Register.).

About the Blogger

Larry Altman has covered crime in the South Bay since 1990. He's seen it all - the missing model who turned up dead in the desert, the wives found dead in trunks, the high-school coaches who get a little too close to their players. He drives his young colleagues nuts with his "I remember when" stories. He welcomes your tips and observations about the present, and you can mix in a little Lakers basketball talk if you like.
