Inglewood teen shot to death

javiersanchez.jpgA 15-year-old boy was shot to death was shot to death on an Inglewood street, police said Monday.

Javier Sanchez of Inglewood was shot just before midnight Saturday at 65th and Long streets, police said.

Witnesses told police that Sanchez was walking with friends, who left him to walk in a different direction.

Several seconds later, the friends  heard gunshots and found him lying on the sidewalk.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The motive for the shooting was not known.
