I'll get more on this when I can, but this is what we are hearing so far:

Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Torrance house early today, police said.

The men allegedly crouched down behind cars in the 22600 block of Evalyn Avenue and opened fire about 1:30 a.m., police said. No one was hit.

Police stopped a white Suburban at Hawthorne and Del Amo boulevards a short time later and arrested the men.

No other information was available from police.

Neighbors said the shooting involved a dispute between a son of the residents, who had a falling out with an old friend over money.

The former friend allegedly hired the shooters to scare him, neighbors said.

Bullets hit the house and parked cars.
