Here's a photograph that didn't run with my Sunday story "Partying to death" about the EF International Language School students drinking activities.

Last Thursday, photographer Brad Graverson and I staked out the school to take photos for the article. Police made an arrest while we were there. This is Jeremy Touche, who is accused of providing the alcohol that led to the death of Mikkel Christian Andersen, 17, on the Harbor Freeway.

Here's his booking mug, which did run with the story in print:

And here's the booking mug for Jember Martelo-Oca, who was convicted of furnishing alcohol to minors on a previous bus trip. His mugshot ran in the print edition as well, but not online.

Larry Altman has covered crime in the South Bay since 1990. He's seen it all - the missing model who turned up dead in the desert, the wives found dead in trunks, the high-school coaches who get a little too close to their players. He drives his young colleagues nuts with his "I remember when" stories. He welcomes your tips and observations about the present, and you can mix in a little Lakers basketball talk if you like.
