A couple of South Bay blogs have posted photographs of burglars inside and outside of a Playa del Rey
home. I tried to confirm all of this with LAPD, but didn't get very far, so I'm going to trust my fellow bloggers.
The crime occurred Aug. 17 in the 7900 block of 81st Street. The photos show the burglars and their car.
David Markland at La.Metblogs has a story.
Westchester parents broke the story.
I stole their photos. Here's a very clear one. If you know him, call the Pacific Division at 310-482-6313.

This just arrived from the District Attorney's Office:
LOS ANGELES - The principal of Del Rey Continuation School is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday on two felony counts of possessing child pornography on his home computer, the District Attorney's office announced.
Randolph Barnett Cornfield, 60 (dob 8-18-47), has been charged in case BA342541 with possessing child pornography on a CD-ROM and on a zip drive, said Deputy District Attorney Marc Beaart with the High Tech Crimes Division. Cornfield, who was arrested June 12 by LAPD officers with the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, was released on $20,000 bail.
Posing as a 12-year-old girl, Cornfield allegedly engaged in sexually explicit conversation in an Internet chat room and offered to provide nude photos. Authorities were tipped off and after executing a search warrant, allegedly discovered child pornography at Cornfield's Playa Del Rey residence.
If convicted, the LAUSD principal faces up to three years, eight months in state prison. An investigation is continuing.
