More promotions and reassignments at LAPD
The Los Angeles Police Department announces a series of promotions and reassignments ... Among them, Commander Kenneth Garner, of the Personnel Group, gets promoted to Deputy Chief and will become commanding officer of Operations-West Bureau. He once was the boss of Foothill Division in Pacoima. Captain III James Cansler, of the Planning and Research Division, has been promoted to commander and will become the commanding pfficer of Personnel Group. He once headed up West Valley Division in Reseda.
