Police blotter

The following arrests were made Aug. 4 in the San Fernando Valley:


  • 11500 block of Harstook Street: A 51-year-old man from North Hollywood was arrested on suspicion of stalking.

  • 12800 Encinitas Avenue: A 42-year-old female care taker from Palmdale was arrested on suspicion of embezzlement.

  • Gault Avenue, Van Nuys: A 29-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man from Van Nuys were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

  • 14300 block of Tyler Street, Sylmar: A 77-year-old retiree from Sylmar was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

  • Golden State (5) Freeway: A 24-year-old man from Pacoima was arrested on suspicion of attempted sexual battery.

  • 19900 block of Kittridge Street, Winnetka: A 19-year-old stocker from Reseda was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.

  • 11700 block of Odessa Avenue, Granada Hills: A 33-year-old man from Granada Hills was arrested on suspicion of being a gang member and carrying a concealed weapon.
