  • 14400 block of Vanowen Street, Van Nuys: A 52-year-old welder from Reseda was arrested on suspicion of animal neglect.

  • 15200 block of Rayen Steet, North Hills: A 23-year-old day laborer from Mission Hills was arrested on suspicion of possession of rock cocaine.

  • Wyandotte, Van Nuys: A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin.

  • 5700 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, Van Nuys: A 23-year-old woman from Quartz Hill was arrested on suspicion of burglary at a Target.

  • Foothill Boulevard, Sylmar: A 30-year-old supervisor was arrested on suspicion of bringing a controlled substance to jail.

  • Noble Avenue, North Hills: A 26-year-old painter was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.

  • 10800 block of Oxnard Street, North Hollywood: A 26-year-old man from Los Angeles was arrested on suspicion of assault with a knife.

  • 12100 block of Victory Boulevard, North Hollywood: A 28-year-old gardener from Reseda was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
