California to review death penalty in state

Our sister paper to the north has an interesting piece today about death row. Their story says fewer juries are sending murderers to death row, but the state nevertheless now has nearly 670 of them awaiting execution, nearly double the number of Texas or Florida. California would have to execute one inmate a day for nearly two years to clear its death row.

In a state where liberalism reins supreme and common sense and logic are viewed as old fashion, it is little wonder we have so many people on death row. The possibility that a very small percentage of these people maybe innocent is not a good enough argument against executing them in a timely manner!
That argument projected out would state no one would even be jailed because once in a great while we may convict an innocent person. That is not logical, not just, and defies even the worst liberal thinking this state of drug-crazed liberal can produce!
