Here's the LAPD's morning report of significant incidents from the past couple of days:

  • A fatal traffic collision was reported yesterday at 4:46 p.m. at Canoga Avenue and Devonshire Street between a 1998 Honda Accord and a 2007 Honda BTM. The 2007 Honda was northbound on Canoga and collided with the right rear fender of the 1998 Honda that was eastbound and backing westbound from a private driveway north of Devonshire Street. One person was ejected from the 2007 Honda. The man was taken to Northridge Hospital where he died.

  • A hot prowl burglary was reported Monday at 12:55 a.m. in the 6200 block of Beck Avenue in North Hollywood. The suspect entered the victim’s residence through an unlocked front window. The victim screamed and the suspect fled. No property was removed. The victim did not report this incident until 5 p.m. the next day.
