Police blotter

Here are a couple of business robberies from overnight in the Valley:

  • A business robbery was reported last night at 7:30 p.m. at a Mobil gas station in the 6400 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Canoga Park. The suspect entered the location, pointed a gun at the clerk and said, “Give me all the money.” The clerk complied with the suspect's demands out of fear. The clerk placed all the money in a bag - $300 in cash. The man was described as 5 foot 4, 130 pounds, and possibly white. The suspect took off in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.

  • A second business robbery was reported last night about five minutes after the previous one, this one in the 6000 block of Canoga Avenue in Canoga Park. The suspect entered the location and asked the clerk for cigars. The clerk was in the process of putting money in the safe. The suspect was able grab the clerks hand, take the money and then fled on foot. There were no injuries.
