Police blotter

A guy was stabbed in the butt and cops arrested the stabber at 11:45 last night in the 7400 block of Kelvin in Winnetka. The suspect and victim are roommates and had been drinking all day. They began fighting for an unknown reason. After the victim beat up the suspect, he retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim. A witness held the suspect down until police arrived. The victim was taken to West Hills Hospital.

A fatal traffic collision was reported just after noon yesterday at La Tuna Canyon Road and Fire Road West in Sun Valley. A bicyclist was westbound on La Tuna, speeding downhill at up to 30 mph, when he lost control and spilled onto the roadway east of Fire Road West. The man, who was 65 was taken to Pacifica Hospital where he died. He was wearing a helmet.
