  • A robbery was reported yesterday at 5:45 p.m. in the 14500 block of Friar Street in Van Nuys. Officers responded to a robbery investigation at a medical marijuana clinic. The employee advised that the Suspect came in an attempted to walk out with marijuana. When the employee questioned the suspect at the door, the suspect pulled out a handgun, pointed the handgun at the employee and demanded that the door be opened. The employee in fear, complied.

  • A shooting occurred yesterday at 6:15 p.m. in the 12900 block of Corcoran in the Foothill area. Two suspects armed with a shotgun, shot a 17-year old victim, who was in front of his residence. The victim suffered superficial wounds to his forearm, shoulder and thigh area. The victim was taken to Holy Cross Hospital and was listed in stable condition. The victim claimed no gang affiliation.
