Valley cops collecting military care packages

They're doing it one care package at a time. According to a press release put out this morning, all six Valley Bureau divisions are taking items to make care packages for troops oversees through June 28, 2008. Put the stuff in red bins in the lobbies of the stations.

In order to send items to our troops, please see the Troops Wish List below and take your items to your local Community Police Station where a Red Bin has been placed in the lobby for collections. Items will be collected until June 28, 2008 at which time the care packages will be prepared and mailed. For further information please visit www.ForTheTroops.us.
