Someone broke into a home and stole a safe on Thursday sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the 16400 block of Garvin Drive. The thieves broke through a rear door, disabled the alarm and ransacked the house. They took a small portable safe inside the closet which contained jewelry and cash and went out the front door.

A robbery was reported Thursday at 7:20 p.m. at Lorne Street and DeGarmo Avenue. The suspect approached the victim, pointed a gun and demanded property. The victim, in fear, complied and the suspect fled with the victim's property.
