Should Juan Alvarez be sentenced to death?

No, as much as we may hate some people for what they do, we as humans cant be killing people to try and correct something or get revenge for it.My personal opinion is let that guy suffer in prison for the rest of his life. The brain is much stronger than anything else, eventually all his thoughts and feelings will catch up to him and he will be miserable and hating life.

Yes he should, the truth is we live in a world were people do terrible things, and as unfortunate as it may be the death penalty is a powerful deterrent, much, much more so than jail. It isn't about hate, correction, or revenge but hopefully making some other potential criminal think twice before killing you and your family in the future, because that person could be right next to you and your loved ones the next time you walk down the street and what's to stop them but the fear of harsh consequences.
I will say I do believe that the State should never lay down the Death Penalty on purely circumstantial evidence which may sometimes happen and is unacceptable, however in the few very clear cut cases, such as this one, is the exact times it should be used.
