LAPD: Banks more likely than pot clinics to be robbed

In this podcast, you'll hear LAPD Chief Charlie Beck tell the Daily News that banks are more likely to get robbed than medical marijuana dispensaries. The words come as the city continues to wrestle with a medicinal marijuana ordinance. Opponents of pot clinics complain the facilities attract a host of criminal activity...but a report that Beck recently had the department generate looking at citywide robberies in 2009...found that simply wasn't the case.
